This bar chart offers a comparison of the total amount of Harley Davidson and bmws sold. The chart studies their activities between 2010 till 2020. Overall Harley Davidson dominated the market but we can observe a turning point in this period of time.

In 2010 the Harley Davidson sales skyrocketed, they sold over 18000 products only in one year. Meanwhile bmws where extremely behind compared to its opponent. BMWs sold 100000 less then Harley Davidsons in 2010. Even thought we can see a slight dip in Harley’s numbers in the early 2010’s it was still far ahead of Mercedes.

The turning point happened in 2016, when bmws sales watched a major rise, the numbers sold between the two competitives became a lot closer with Harley Davidsons at 140000 and BMWs 115000. 2018 marks the overtaking by BMWs and ever since their numbers became more important compared to Harley’s.

In conclusion, Harley Davidsons peaked in the early 2010’s overshadowing BMWs. But that never stopped BMWs from dethroning them in the late 2010’s and becoming more efficient in the markets.
