This image shows two different types of how tourists spend their time Australia, and how many traveled to Australia.
As we can see in the data, in 2005, UK Tourists peaked with 1,500,000 People in the country. In contrast, In 1995, There were around 800,000 Tourists who visited Australia. Next, We have US at 1995, which is lesser than UK’s 1995. US at 1995 only reached around 500,000 Visitors. But, the number stonked, as they reach nearly 1,600,000 visitors in 2005. And Lastly, Japan, Reaching the same number at 1995, which is nearly 1,600,000 visitors. But they gradually decreased, as time went by. As they only reached 1,000,000 visitors, 600,000 of them decresed.
In Australia, they also spend their holidays differently! Such as staying at resorts, or Backpacking!
At 2000, Resorts were packed with visitors. As they gradually increased from 1,750,000 to 2,500,000, in only 5 years! But, they slowly decreased after reaching it’s peak, as for 2005, they stopped at 1,000,000 travelers.
For Backpacking, it stayed constant as for the time period (1995-2005) they increased from 250,000 to 1,000,000.
