The data displays the amount of males and females presenting different evening classes, and their ages, at an educational centre for grown-ups in 2009.
Overall, it is evident that the number of females dominated in almost all sorts of activities, except of sculpture. Participants in the age of 50 were most interested in the classes, and there is a visibly low interest of people aged under 20.
The number of women participating in painting was almost equal to number of men, with its approximately 30 and 26. Whilst the only class in which men were more interested that women was sculpture, with roughly 10 men and 4 women, the language and drama class showed domination of women, with around 40 females and 19 males and approximately 20 females and 10 males, respectively.
While people in the age of 50 or over obviously showed the highest figure of 42% of all participants, joiners in the age under 20 demonstrated the lowest figure of 5%. While 40-49 age group took the second place with its 26%, 30-39 and 20-29 age groups took third and forth places with their 16% and 11%, respectively.
