The bar chart provide the data about the proportion of British people who consumd live portions of fruits and vegetables daily between 2001 and 2008, broken down by age group. Overall, it can be clearly seen that woman recorded the largest percentage throughought the timeframe, while men and children had lower and similar patterns.
To begin with, children who ate vegetables and fruits stayed constant during the first three years, attaining 15%. It then increased progressively, following four years, reaching approximately 25%, before decrease negligibily to nearly 18% at the end of the period. By comparison, being closely trailed by children, men also illustrated stability at 17% during three years, followed by a gradual rise to 25%.
