The displayed table describes the results regarding the percentage of students registered in four different subjects at a specific university in three different years: 2005, 2010 and 2015.
Overall, the data shows different trends for each course (Math, Science, English and History) and reports a heterogeneous but positive evolution in each assessed year.
A first clear highlight is the growing proportion reported. For example, in 2005, the 40% of students were matriculated in Math. The following years, that percentage increased in 15% (2010) and 10% (2015). Science showed a similar pattern, as it first gathered the 50% of students. Later, in 2010 the proportion reached 60% and, ultimately, peaked in 2015 with 70%.
Another outstanding point retrieved from the table is the different pace of growth observed in each subject. This is illustrated by the rapid increase in the percentage of students registed in Math between 2005 and 2010 (a positive difference of 15%) whereas English had a very modest jump during the same period (5%).
Also, it must be noted that the changes are not linear. In other words, the variation noticed between the first period (2005-2010) is not necessarily the same of the second (2010-2015). A didactic example of it is the data associated to History, which reported a slight increase (5%) in 2010 and a greater one (15%) in 2015.
