The given bar chart clearly compares the proportion of passing multiple subjects between male and female students in high school from 2010 to 2011.
It can be easily noticed from the given chart that the proportion of passing Geography from male was higher than female, whereas girls excelled in other subjects. Moreover, both girls and boys had a high percentage of passing Foreign languages and Mathematics and find difficult in passing History.
In more detail, male students excelled most at Mathematics which accounted for 48,4%. This was followed by Foreign languages with 46,8%. Next, Computer science was witnessed at the third positon with 42.1%. Whereas Physics, Geography and History had a deeply low percentage with 34,6%, 30,4%, and 22,9% respectively. The subject which had lowest percentage of passing is Chemistry with 14,1%.
Turning to female students side, the proportion of passing computer was witnessed as a highest rate with 56,3%. This was followed by Foreign languages and mathematics with roughly 48%. Next. Girls were seem to be bad at Physics, Chemistry, and History with 36,7%, 30.2%, and 25.6% respectively. The lowest proportion of subject was Geography with 20.1%.
