Overall, all countries experienced an upward trend, whereas Country A remained at the top of the chart over the period. In addition, Country B was at the bottom all the time, while Country D experienced a meteoric rise and finished at the second place.
Country A, Country B, and Country E witnessed a steady increase compared with other two countries. Country A had the most smartphone users in 2015 at 60%, and reached its pinnacle at 90% in 2020. At the beginning pf the period, the proportion of users of Country B was at 40%, which was the second result; however, it experienced a substantial jump, and finished at the third place at 75%. Finally, Country E ungergone a marginal rise, and stood at 52% of usage.
In contrast, Country C and Country D witnessed a significant jump. Country C, which started at 18%, doubled its proportion, and remained at just over 36% in 2020. Country D started off at 35%, but jumped steeply, and finished at 80%, which the second-highest proportion in 2020.
