Features that influence work productivity. From the bar chart, it is clearly seen the correlation between different factors and groups of people from 18 to 30 and from 45 to 60. In general, there are four points that are similar for both age groups, while others have a big gap.
Team spirit, competent boss, work environment, and money are all components that affect workers in the same way. From this group, the most motivating aspect is money; it improves work performance by approximately 73 percent. Then goes team spirit with 60 and competent boss with 49%. The work environment provides the smallest result – slightly less than a third out of 100.
The second, and last, group contains factors like chance for personal development, relaxed working environment, job security, respect from colleagues, promotion prospects, and job satisfaction. The most influencing feature from here, for the younger group, is a chance for personal development for about 82 percent, while for the older one, it is job satisfaction – 50%. However, there are also least affecting factors. For the group of people from 18 to 30, it is respect from colleagues, although for workers from 45 to 60, job security is the most unimportant component.
To conclude, there are things that can change work productivity for employees of all age groups. Nevertheless, some of the elements have the same level of impact on both groups, and some do not.
