The figure for agriculture significantly decreased by approximate 10% in 1970 and substantially continuous dropped to 30% in 1980. In contrast, the proportion of services dramatically rise at 28% from 1960 to 1980.
Over the next 10 years, the services contribution to India’s GDP overtook agriculture to become the highest percent, with 44% and 31%, respectively. In 2008, the figure for services witnessed about 4 times more than that of agriculture, with 62% and 13%, respectively. Additionally, the figure for industry gradually experienced from 16% to 24%, between 1960 and 1980 and the number remained unchanged 1980 onwards.
