Overall, the significance of agriculture declined steadily while services were significant increase decade by decade. A differen pattern emerged for industry, which was slight fluctuation but then remained from 1980 onwards.
In 1960, agriculture contribution stood above 60%. After a decade it plunged to 55%. In 1980 agriculture started to decrease gradually and fell to 10%. Then, the agriculture contribution was a significant drop at 30% by 1990. Finally, in 2000 it hit a low of 15%.
While agriculture fell over the period, service contribution rose gradually over the period. In 1960 service stood at below 20%. Then, it increased steadily over two decades. In 1990, it reached 45% and at the end of the period service peaked at over 60% by 2000.
