Overall, food was the most popular product in both years, whereas books had the lowest figure, spending on food, smartphones, toiletries increased significantly, spending on clothes stayed the same, spending on books decreased.
Looking at first categories, in 2010, young people spent about $38 million on food, people spent to clothes about at $25. Moreover, books was the least popular so its reached only $10 million, $20 million on smartphones, $18 million on toiletres.
Looking at the data in detail, in 2014, spending on food rose to nearly $38 million in addition, spending on clothes remained unchanged about $25 million. However spent on books fell to only $5 million, spending on smartphones also increased to $27 million. Spending on toiletres went up slightly to $20 million.
