The bar chart illustrates the ratio of the population living in the urban area in the world and in different nations. Overall, it is obvious that the proportion of population in urban areas in 2030 will be higher than the first year. Additionally, the Latin America Caribbean and North America had by far the largest percentage of the population.
To begin with, It can be seen that the percentage of population in World, Africa and Asia had lower figures than the other countries. The ratio of the world led with the highest figures with 29%, 49% and 60% during the period. In addition, the figures for Africa and Asia follow a fairly similar pattern over the 15 years, ranging between 15% to 54%.
