Overall, what stands out from the graph is there was a significant upward trend regarding to mobile phones. Moreover, the popularity of local calls in Australia rose slightly but at the last place it came back to the initial results.
In detail, local calls were the most time consuming, it took 72 billion minutes in 2001, then reached its peak in 2005 with 90 billion minutes and fell to 72 on the final stage. National and International telephone calls were often used by Australians in the beginning and continued rising next years. Thus, in 2001 38 billion minutes were spent on this type of calls and rose gradually to 61 billion at the last place. In 2001 the smallest amount of minutes was spent on mobile call, only 2 billion minutes. After, it rose slightly to 12 billionn in 2006 and then skyrocketed to 46 billion in 2008.
In breif, we can see than the overall amount of time spent on calls increased and local calls remained being the most popular and mobile ones the most rarely used categories.]
