In detail, marketing and accounting were significant choices for female students, which around 120 and 200 students, respectively. In contrast, the number of male students who selected those subjects were quite low, just approximately 75 and 170 students, respectively. Regarding finance, it is the most popular subject, studied by 450 students in total (225 male and 225 female).
Turning to economics and mathematics, there were a significant gender gap in these subjects. Most students who selected these two subjects were male (150 chose economics and 200 chose mathematics). Nevertheless, there were just around 75 and 60 female students studied economics and mathematics, respectively. Finally, engineering had the lowest number of students, with just over 50 students from each gender choosing this subject.
