Overall, while cycling was the most chosen sport among both sexes, the opposite was true for that of hockey. Additionally, the most significant difference was seen in the share of teenage men and women participating in football.
Regarding teenage men, the percentage of people enrolling in football during one month was around 52% (the highest category), which was about 16% higher than that of cycling. Meanwhile, the proportion of male basketballers stood at approximately 36% as opposed to only 20% of men participating in swimming, which was about twice as much as that of hockey.
Considering young girls, the percentage of people joining cycling recovered to 40%, remaining the top chosen sport among all the categories. In swimming, girls accounted for around 36% compared to about a fifth in that of soccer. In the meantime, at about 12%, the share of females enrolling in basketball was 6% higher than the figure for hockey.
