The bar chart shows the proportion of time spent on the types of activities in the evening when parents are taking care of their kids in 2022.
In general, mothers spent more time with their children as compared than the fathers. By a large margin, the main activities that mothers spent at dawn was dressing their kids while fathers spent more time with their children by teaching them doing homework.
The favourite activities most mothers spent 75% of their time dressing their children, followed by 50% of mothers helping them with more homework, slightly over 40 % preparing for children’s bed and spending the least amount of time with them playing game at only approximately 25%. On the other hand, 10% of fathers help their children with homework. There are similar proportion of time fathers spent with their children on playing games and preparing for bed at around 5% of the time.
The highest percentage of time which both parents spent time together with children is playing games at a record of 70%, followed by 50% of them preparing for bed together for their children. Both parents on spent 28% of their time in the evening with their children doing homework and only slightly over 20% of the time spent on dressing their children.
