Overall, the UK spent more money on consumer goods than France. Both the British and French spent most of their earnings on vehicles whereas the least amount of money was spent on perfume.
According to the bar chart, the expenditure of the British was higher on books than the French did, accounting for around 400 thousand pounds sterling and 300 thousand respectively. In the UK the expenditure on cameras accounted for nearly 350 thousand pounds sterling, whilst the residents of France made up only 150 thousand pounds sterling. Nevertheless, dweller of France spent more money on computers above 350 thousand pounds sterling which was slightly higher than the UK’s individuals, which spent nearly 350 thousand pounds sterling. Moreover, France allocated much on perfume accounted for 200 thousand pounds sterling on expenditure whereas the UK came up with under 150 thousand pounds sterling
