The chart illustrates the percentage of people who attend music events in Australia in 2006, the music divided in three types such as Classical, Opera and Popular. Overall, it can be seen most of people interested in Popular music are in the age between 15 to 44, whereas people with the age above 44 shows interest in Opera music.
In Australia people aged 44 below had same taste of music type. Firstly, Popular music has the biggest percentage with up to 36 percent attendence in age 15 until 24, next aged 25 to 34 with around 26 percent, and aroud 32 percent for age 35 to 44. Secondly, after the Popular music wh have Opera that sat in the second position, with 12, 14 and 25 percent respectively in age 15 to 24, 25 until 34 and 35 to 44. Thirdly, Classical music had the lowest audiance in aged under 44, with the lowest in aged 25-34 with around 7 percent, and the same percentage attendence in age 15 to 24 and 35 until 44 with 11 percent.
On the other hand, People aged above 45 had differect kind of music interest, with the highest percentage is Opera and both age group 45 to 54 and 55 above with 15 percent. Furthermore, aged 45 to 54 had 12 percent in popular and 10 percent in Classical, whereas aged 55 above had contrast with 8 percent in Classical and 5 percent in Popular.
