Overall, popular music event was the most preferred among all age groups, with the exception of elderly people. It is also worth noting that classical music event was the least attended among all ages.
Looking at the details, popular music festival was by far the most popular among young people, accounting for 38%. Opera event came second with 13%, which was closely followed by classical festival at 11%. Popular music festivals had the highest percentages in both those aged 25-34 and 35-44, with 27% and 33%, respectively, which was distantly followed by opera event, making up 14% and 25%. Lastly, only 7% and 11% were preferred by classical festival.
In contrast, opera music festival recorded the highest in those aged 45-54. This was followed by classical and popular music event with the respective figures of 10% and 13%. When it comes to the oldest people, opera topped the list with 15%, which was followed by classical festival, making up 8%. Finally, popular event had the least attendence among those aged 55+.
