The graph gives information about how many percentages of money were spent on different sectors in 4 countries in 2009.
Overall, it’s clear that housing made up the highest proportion of expenses in all given countries while health care and clothing accounted for the least share. Moreover, the figure for food and transportation showed average rate compared to other categories.
To begin with, given countries, namely the US, Canada, The UK and Japan preferred spending more money on housing than others, where the rates ranged from 20% to almost 25%. Japanese and British people’s expenses on food was higher than transportation, whereas the reverse was true for the US and Canada, accounting for above 23% and 20% respectively while transportation made up only 10 and 15 percent respectively in these countries. The Us allocated more than 8% of fund on health care which was one of the biggest rate among other countries. Other countries showed only less than 5% on this sector. According to clothing, it’s less preferable category in terms of spending money in given countries, accounting for around 5%.
