Overall, the highest percentage in all four countries is in housing, whereas the lowest consumption is in health care, except in the US, which had the lowest result in clothing.
In the US, housing was the most popular expenditure, illustrating up to 25%. In contrast, in clothing, the US represented its lowest amount, nearly 5 percent. On the other hand, in Canada, housing was the most popular, just above 20%. In transportation expenditures, it showed almost the same percentage, 20%. However, health care was the least popular in Canada, just under 5%.
In Japan, housing consumption was almost the same as Canada’s, a little bit more than 20%. But food was the most popular there, almost 25%, which is higher than in all four countries. In the UK, health care was the lowest, just above 0%, whereas housing reached its peak, more than 20%. In other expenditures, it varied from 20% in food to 5% in clothing consumption.
