The presented bar chart illustrates the amount of energy produced by wind in India, Denmark, Germany and the United States from 1985 to 2000.
As a general trend, energy generated increases among the years, except in the United States. This country shows the highest peaks among almost all the years compared to other countries. It increased to its highest peak from 1985 to 1990 with 1650 MB. It then declined to its lowest peak at 2000 with 1500 MB.
Other countries show clearly an increasing trend, representing their highest peaks at 2000. At first glance, a huge jump was observed from 1990 to 1995 in Denmark and India. As can be seen, Denmark reached its greatest top in 2000 (identical to US’s highest peak in 1995), surpassing the United States in this year.
India and Germany expressed the same data in 1995, showing 800MB of energy produced. They then both reached their top peak in 2000, with 1200 MB in India and 900 MB in Germany.
In conclusion, the graph’s trend tends to increase, except in the US where it decreases after 1990.
