Overall, the highest qualifications of male and female are largely similar with slight differences except for GCE A level or equivalent where men have an upper hand. however, women exceed the male population at GCSE grade A* -c or equivalent.
As the trend suggests, about 20% of the the male population lacks qualifications in comparison to female with slightly higher than male of about 23%, the population with other different qualifications are of about 12% in male and 11% in females. On the contrast, the female population peaks up to 28% for GCSE grade A*-C or equivalent surpassing male count of about 18%.
On the other hand, male proportion peaked at 27% for GCE A level or equivalent exceeding the female population count of 15%; the higher education qualification is relatively lower than other population count for both male and female with about 8% and 9% respectively. While, male in the degree or equivalent qualification have 12% and female of about 11% with very slight difference between them.
