Overall, it is clear that in among 6 countries surveyed, while the number of students having a caculator in Hungary, Korean, France, Isarael, and Ireland was higher than those that have used it, Taiwan is the only one that saw a reverse trend. Also of note is that the figures for both types of students in Korea are always at the bottom line.
To elaborate, in 1991, France has the highest number of students with a caculator, reaching the peak of the chart and outstripping other nations following closely such as israel and hungary at 6 to 11% respectively. In three remainig nations, both Ireland and Taiwan witnessed over half of it students in 1991 possessing a caculator at 57,7% in taiwan and a 0,2% higher in Ireland. Meanwhile, Korean has the lowest rate of students who can afford a caculator, just about one-fifth in tolal.
In terms of students having used a caculators, however, only Taiwan saw a usage rate higher than that of possession rate, showing that students might use caculators without actually purchasing one. Meanwhile in other nations, the figure of students who have used caculators in school are always lower than blue columns; Meanwhile, France and Korean still takes the leading and bottom position of the chart.
