The bar chart illustrates the changes in a drug company’s total sales, per region, in five years, starting in 2002. Overall, despite witnessing a decline, the level of European and African sales made up the majority of the chart throughout the period.
The data reveals that in 2002, the proportion of European and African’s sales was around 44%, accounting for nearly half the total sale. Besides, the figure for North America stood at 33%, while those for South America and Asia were significantly lower, at 11% and 12%, respectively.
As can be seen from the chart, by the next four years, both the statistics of Europea and Africa and Asia had notably decreased and stood at 40% and 21%, respectively, in the end. Noticeably, in contrast to the aforementioned categories, that of Asia rose annually and went up to approximately 28% in 2006. Additionally, after slightly dropping to 6% in 2004, the percentage of South American sales eventually increased to 11% and remained unchanged.
