Overall, in the teenage group, particularly women, who had a higher tendency than men, not to have qualifications; meanwhile, in the middle-aged group, the tendency was the opposite. In addition, in the early adulthood group, the percentage of both sexes was the same.
About 8% of people in the 25-29 group and 30-39 group have the same figures for both genders, with a part of the percentage of women in the 20-24 group, compared to about 7% of men, which was just less by 1% than women. Similarly, young British women were around 7%, just over 1% of young men.
The percentage of people who did not have the qualifications in the 50-59/64 group was the highest, at over 15%, with the proportion of women reaching the highest point at 20% and of men in the middle of 15% and 20%. Followed by, exactly 10% of men and just over 10% of women in the 40-49 group. This showed that the more people get older, there is a lack of qualifications compared to young teenagers.
