The bar charts compare the number of local and international student enrolments in the Science and Law degrees at Bond University in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Overall, it is clear that more students were studying Science at that time than Law. Enrolments of international students increased dramatically in the Science degree, overtaking the figure of locals in 2012, which had decreased considerably. In the Bachelor of Law, however, local students far outnumbered foreign students.
In 2010, almost 1000 local students were studying their Bachelor of Science at Bond University, whereas only around 420 international students were enrolled. As the number of locals fell slightly over the next two years, more international students arrived until, by 2012, around 900 foreign students were studying Science, and just over 800 locals.
The trends were reversed in the Law faculty, though the figures were much lower. In 2010, around 420 students were locals, which was almost double the number of internationals. Over the next two years, there was a slight increase in local enrollments by around 25, and a marginal decrease in foreign learners with just over 150 enrolled in 2012.
