As an overview, the percentage of adult male smokers in seven countries shows the upward trend in the figure. The maximum male smoker was in Armenia and Bangladesh, while Mexico,and Egypt show the lowest figures.
It is vividly seen that, Armenia has the highest percentage of male smokers, at roughly two-thirds of the male population. Bangladesh and Cuba also show relatively high rates, with around half or slightly more of men smoking in these countries. However, these three locations stand noticeably above the global average, highlighting a strong prevalence of smoking in certain regions. Considerably the remaining countries display lower figures. Lebanon is moderately below the world average, with roughly one-third to two-fifths of men smoking. Significantly, Egypt and Mexico record the lowest proportions, with Mexico appearing to have the smallest share overall, at around a quarter of the male population.
