This bar graph compares the level of carbon emissions provided by six different countries and their evolution during a thirty year period. Overall, it is clearly demonstrated that USA and China are the biggest carbon users, while the United Kingdom and Canada figure out to the countries that do not provide a lot of carbon emissions.
Already in 1975, USA got the biggest amount of carbon emissions with 1200000 thousand metric tonnes, but after thirty years, it rose up to 1600000. On the contrary, in 1975, China only produced 300 000 thousand metric tones, which is only half of their carbon emissions in 1990, that reached 600 000 then almost tripled to more than 1500000 in 20005. Another country who detain a rising trend is India, whose carbon emissions went up from less than 100 000 in 1975 to 300000 in 2005. Another american country, Canada also became more polluant, but in a way slighter way, going from 100000 to around 180000 over these three decades.
On the other hand, both of the european countries, Germany and the United Kingdom, presented a declining trend through the years. While Germany remained constant during fifteen years, before reducing of around 80000 thousand metric tones fifteen years later, the Uk slightly decreased their carbon emissions from 1975 to 1990 before getting a tiny increasing trend, reaching around 150000 thousand metric tonnes, making them the lower level of carbon emissions in the list.
