The bar chart illustrates the number of acres that were logged in the Southwest between 1990 and 2010, while the table compares the number of species living in forests across the same region from 1998 to 2008.
It is observed that in the Southwest area, the figure of logged acres increased over time; however, the amount of species habitats started to reduce in the timeframe, meanwhile, birds led the chart.
The bar chart represents the extent of forest area cleared in the Southwest region, beginning with 75000 acres in the initial year, which then increased by 25000, until 1995. In 2000, however, had 150000; it soared to 225000 by 2010.
In contrast to forest-dwelling species, 27 birds dominated in the year 1998, the number gradually declined between 2002 and 2008, from 15 to 11. Amphibians, despite being the second-lowest number compared to all species, the population fell by 3. Initially, 13 mammals lived in the Southwest region. As time passed by, the habitats started to decline, and reached 7 mammals by the end of the year.
