To begin, it can be observed that in the bar chart, the number of acres of forest logged began at 75,000 in 1990, which was a half of the number of that in 2000. After this, the area of forest moderately increased, before reached at 225,000 in 2010.
In contrast, the number of forest-dwelling species in the Southwest reveals different trend. At first, birds were the largest species among manmals and amphibians in 1998, which was all-time-high among these species. All species had declined during the given period, especially the number of manmals appeared at 7 in 2008, a half of 1998, which was the lowest species among these three species.
