Overall, there was an upward trend in all categories. Men and children show a sharp increase over the period, while women experience a moderated rise. After six years later it showed slight decrease.
In 2001, women consuming fruit and vegetables began at 21%, it saw a slight growth over five years. Moreover, its reach peaking around 35% by 2006 and it experienced a noticeable decline nearly 30% at the end of the period.
In addition, approximately 17% of men ate fruits and vegetables which remained steady until 2003. Similarly, children consuming fruits and vegetables was lower than men, which was just 12% which remained unchanged.however, both men and children experience an increase of around 27% and 23% which remained constant at the end of the period.
