In the first phase, between 1990 – 1995, compared to the average house prices in New York decreased noticeably by 5%, the data on Marid increased minimally by approximately 2%. The former grew dramatically and overtook the latter at 5% and 4%, respectively, in the next period between 1996 and 2002.
The data on Tokyo in the first phase was nearly -7%, which equaled that of London. While the figure for Japan increased slightly to -5 %, the data for London saw an enormous rise to over 10% in the second phase. In contrast to the trend in other cities, the average house prices in Frankfurt
grew slightly in the first step and then decreased to roughly 2% in the final phase.
