The shown line graph and bar chart provides us a data about competitors who have took part in the Olympics since it lunched. Looking from an overall perspective, the ratio of participants witnessed a significant increase during 1924 and 2012. However, it was more common for males to attend Olympics rather than females in all shown years.
In 1924 exactly 3000 men took part in Olympics, however, this figure experienced a jump to around 4500 in 1952. In next 32 years, this number inclined moderately to over 5000 people before climbing to 5900 males which was the highest figure in graph in 2012.
On the flip side, it was less popular for women to attend to Olympics in 1924 and almost no one participated to competition. In upcoming few decades the amount of female participants escalated to 500 people. Subsequently, the ratio kept rising till 2012 and reached to approximately 4800.
With the clear information provided by the line graph, the number of competitors increased considerably between 1924 and 2012. Sum of both genders who took part in competitions was over 2300 people. But this number inclined steadily to over 6000 in 1984 and kept growing until reaching to around 10200 individuals in 2012.
