The graphs illustrate the information about the percentage of total sales among regions in 2000 and share price, measured in dollars, from 1996 to 2000 for Coca-Cola.
It is noticeable that Asia had the largest proportion of sales. Meanwhile, the trend of share price experienced an increase.
Looking first at the total sales of Coca-Cola, the largest percentage was North America, at 30.4%. Followed by Latin America and Europe, which represented a similar proportion, the former was at 25.7% and the latter was at 20.5%. Furthermore, Asia accounted for 15.4% of the total sold botteles. The smallest percentage was Africa and the Middle east, recorded at 7%.
Turning to Coca-Cola’s share price, there are some fluctuations in the trend. In the initial period, the share price began at around $35, which increased in the middle of 1997 to about $70, a two-fold growth. After which, the price decreased to around $57 at the end of 1997, then it reached a peak position at $80 in 1998. In addition, there is a substantial fall to below 50$ in the middle of 2000, while the price grew to around $60 before declining to about $55 in the last period.
