The vertical paragraph depicts information about the change in the percentage of adult citizens who were obese in four different nations namely Japan, Finland, Australia and U.S.A. during 1980,1990, and 2000.
In general, it is crystal clear that an ever-increasing trend was followed by all countries in the percentage of overweight adult population throughout the given time period. Moreover, U.S.A. had maximum percentage of overweight adults, whereas minimum percentage was shown by Japan.
After analysing the bar chart, it can be clearly seen that there is negligible change in the percentage of obese adult’s from 1980 to 1990. Besides this, increase of nearly 1% was exhibited by Japan in 2020. On the other hand, U S.A.had 25% overweight adults in 1990 which is approximately 9% more than the first given span. Apart from this, in the last given year U.S.A. manifested the change in overweight adult population around 2% less as compared to the change in 1990.
Moving towards further information, there is only the difference of 1% in overweight adult population registered by Finland from 1980 to 1990. On the contrary, change of 4% was illustrated by Australia between 1980 and 1990. Not only this,but it is staggering to note that while last stated span 12% and 22% of overweight adult’s estimated in Finland and Australia respectively. And, a striking point is that Australia comprised almost double population of Finland in recently mentioned year.
