The chart given depicts the US residents’ computer ownership from 1997 to 2012
Overall, the percentage of people with no computer lessen, whereas more and more people get new computers every year. Moreover, the speed of change of no computer and 1 computer catergories are vastly different than those with 2 or more computers.
Initially, in 1997, nearly 70% of the population did not have access to computers and stand as the highest figure. That quickly changed after crashing with 1 computer section at 45% in 2002 and eventually was surpassed by it. While 1 computerpeaked at 50% in 2013 and continued to fluctuate until the end of the chart, percentage of no computer steadily declined throughtout the chart until barely less than 20% in 2012.
Moving onto the rest, their proportions did not recieved such spontaneous rise in numbers, they were more gradual. The catergory of 2 computers escalated throughtout the chart from 5% to 25% after 15 years, effectiuvely increase 5 times over the amount it had. 3 computers, however, had had nearly 1% before rising to 10% at the end of the chart.
