The table given shows that doctors practising in Australia had rised remarkably for the first 10 years (since 1986 to 1996), from 300000 to 640000 individuals. Until 2006, the number still went up considerably and reached 800000.
The left bar graph gives in the first research year, while male doctors accounted for approximately 55%, 45% of the total was women. In 2006, although male doctors ratio was still higher than female ones, men went down to around 52% and women went up to 48%.
The right bar graph shows that since 1986 to 2006, Australian doctors had accounted for 60%, whilst other nationality doctors stood 40%.
