The given bar chart provides the data about the average expenditure of the households in a particular country regarding a week of income based on the years 1968 and 2018.
In general, the most spending of the income was significantly high for food followed by leisure and housing while households spent the least income for their goods carefully.
In 1968, there was highest expenses on food with 35% considerably, whereas clothing and housing accounted for 10% noticeably. Furthermore, household and personal
goods and transport were the same rate of weekly income that observed almost 8% while leisure noticed nearly 9%. However, the lowest expenditure was fuel and power that constituted just above 5%.
Looking at 2018, The most spending was for leisure, housing and food recorded with roughly 22%, almost 19% and above 15% respectively. In addition, families used just under 15% of money on transport. On the other hand, fuel and power, personal goods and clothing represented more or less 5%. In contrast, Household goods remained unchanged with almost 8% in both years.
