Salary for doctors in Canada was twice as high as that in Finland, with 110,000 USD and over 50,000 USD respectively. In contrast, the figure for Switzerland was at 110,000 USD, making it higher than France with over 80,000 USD for earnings of doctors in that specific year. The income of doctors was at 40,000 USD in the Czech Republic, which meant that it was the lowest remuneration in 2004.
If we look at the emolument of other workers, the USA and Switzerland were also dominant, with over 40,000 USD for other professionals. Next, there are four countries, namely France, Canada, Germany, and Finland, that paid the same salary for other workers, with under 30,000 USD. While the Czech Republic also had the lowest annual payroll of 20,000 USD in 2004.
