The pie chart compares the amount of money spent on four categories of goods, namely food, clothing, medicine, and household goods by people in China from 1995 to 2011. Looking from a general perspective, it is readily apparent that the sales of food and clothing decreased slightly in 2011,but those were highest among 3 others. While the sales of medicine and household goods increased dramatically during this timeframe.
Looking at the food and household categories, in 1995 only 4% of medicine goods were used by the Chinese, but this figure rose to 11% in 2011. Furthermore, during the given period, household goods showed a significant increase in the number of spending about 9% to 12%.
Regarding two categories, the proportion of consumption of food goods in 2011 fell sharply about 9% compared to 2019. Similarly, the proportion of consumption of closething goods dropped from 19% to 18% over the 16-year period.
