The pie charts compared and contrasted on the total revenue distribution of a household in China during 1995 and 2011. In general, the biggest portion of the revenue occupied by food whereas the least amount of money spent on Medicine both the years. Nonetheless, there were measurable changes in all four categories over the years.
In 1995, 68% of the total budget was spent on food, it was slightly fallen to 59% in 2011. Although it remained at the top of chart. Clothing, on the other hand, accounted a little under a fifth of the total revenue, which decreased by merely 1% over the 16 years.
In contrast, the amount given to Medicine and Household goods were 4% and 9% respectively in 1995. This figure marginally rose to just above 10%, with Medicine 11% and Household 12%. However, Medicine and Household goods represented the lowest and second-lowest spending categories, respectively.
