Overall, Swimming is a sport attracting the most participants, while the opposite was true in the case of Jogging. Also of note is that the most dramatic disparity in the share of males and females registering was recorded in Netball.
To elaborate, 24% and 10% of the examined males played Soccer and Cricket, overtaking the figure for females by a gap of roughly 9% and 19% in that order. Also, 9% of the total males was in favour of Table Tennis, which tripled the figure for females. By contrast, the proportion of females favoring Netball was the highest, at an impressive 25%, whereas only 1% of their male counterparts did the same.
Regarding categories with less pronounced disparities, around 4% of the studied females preferred Jogging, 1% higher than the figure for males. Likewise, the percentage of males participating in Basketball was slightly higher than that of females, with a difference of merely 1% being observed. Meanwhile, the figure for tennis was relatively the same in both genders.
