The bar chart compares the different percentage population who were overweight in four countries in two decades.

In general, the number of overweight people all increased faster from 1990 to 2000 than that of from1980 to 1990 in the four countries. The percentage of USA increased the most during the period,while the percentage of Sweden and Japan just grew a little. There had been a noticeably rise in Britain from 1980 to 2000

Over the two decades, USA still kept the highest figure for the outweight people. Besidese, the overweight population in the USA grown up faster than other three countries,increasing from 12% to 33%.

In contrast, the percentage of overweight individuals in Japan was 2% in 1980,which just increased to 5% by the year 2000. Sweden’s overweight population percentage in2000 were twice the percentage which were in 1980,from 6% in to 11%.
