The chart below illustrates information about the percentage of British people giving money to charity by age range for the years 1990 and 2010.
Overall, if we investigate between the years 1990 and 2020, we can say that people were more benevolent in 1990. However, the charitable rates of age between 18 and 50 decreased substantially. On the other hand, the other’s rates increased slightly. The most significant change was ages between 18-25 and 36-50 because the decline was approximately 10%.
If it is necessary to give some details, we can mention that the most beneficent group was aged between 36-50 because their rates began at 40%; however, it decreased by 7%. On the one hand, the most similar groups were ages between 51-65 and 65. The group rates of 61-55 were 35% in 1990, but their rates increased 4%. We can testify to a slight increase in 65 ages. Looking at ages between 26-35, we can see that their rates diminished from 31% to 24%. The group of 18-25 ages’ rates reduced markedly, so they started with 16%; however, their rates decreased to 6%.
