The bar chart shows the portion of people aged between 25 and 34 are housed in the UK. The graph demonstrates both young persons who own a house and persons whom rent the house. As you can see from 2004 to 2014, the number of youngsters who have home by themselves significantly descreasee from under 60% to approximate 36%. It’s easy to see that there was a downward trend, which in 2007, the column is continuous dropping until 2011. From 2021 to 2012, the amount of home owners is remain stable.
In th other hand, the portion of renters is clearly rising. From 2004 to 2011, the renters increase substantially, which is over 40%, double compared to 2004 is just 20%. As well as the proportion of homeowners, in 2011 and 2012, renters were also stable.
In general, we can see that the young people in the UK is tend to rent the house instead of own the house according to the graph.
