The pie chart compares the proportion of the Internet usage in five different sectors (social media, streaming services, online shopping, gaming, and others) in 2024.

Overall, social media showed the highest share, whilst the opposite was true for the unspecified sector.

In 2024, the figure for social media constituted almost half of the total usage, at roughly 40%, making it the most popular thing to do among others. Moreover, it was 15% lower for streaming services in comparison, at about 25%. Following closely to this was online shopping, accounting for 20%.

Turning to the remaining sectors, in 2024, it was only around 10% of the time were spent on playing games, however, it still doubled the percentage of Internet usage for others purposes.
