Overall, in 1970 and 1992 the shares of all the items by bookseller is the same but in 2012 the percentage share of adult fiction and childrens fiction has increased drastically making the market share of the other three items reduce significantly.

In the years 1970 and in 1992 the market shares of all items were nearly identical .the perceentage of other book genres and biography decreased slightly by just five percentage margin respectively . Although, the travel and childrens fiction increased by the smallest margin of three and two percent respectively the adult fiction showed a bigger increase by 5 percent .

In contrast , the year 2012 showed a greater divide in the genres bought by individuals . The adults and childrens fiction showed a considerable jump of 45 and 25 percent . Whereas , travel ,biography and other genres showed a notable loss of shares reducing to 10 ,8 and 12 percentages respectively
