The given bar graph illustrates the housing preferences among people who lived in the British cities of London, Oxford and Cambridge in the year 2005.
Overall, it can be seen that flats were the highest demandable figure in London, while detached houses were the lowest. Meanwhile, the preference of detached houses among the individuals of Cambridge was larger than other categories throughout the period. In addition, other categories displayed moderately significant variations.
Individuals choose the flats for living were higher, approximately 58%, than any others citis who consisted of at roughly 28% and 20% respectively. Furthermore, there was a lack of demand for living in terraced houses in all cities at aroud 15%, 18% and 16% respectively.
However, there was a huge difference for living in detached house among all cities, with London showing a higher figure of almost 35%, whereas Cambridge displayed the lowest at 8%, and Oxford people took a moderate position by 25%. In addition, there was a similar preference between Oxford and Cambridge in terms of choosing semi-detached houses, roughly 25%, but London experienced nealry 17% over the period.
