The given bar chart represents data on undergraduate and graduate students using different kinds of housing at specific university in US during 2013.
Overall, for undergraduate students more convenient type of accommodation was university dormitory, while graduates preferred sharing apartment or house. Moreover, the least popular for undergraduates and graduates were married student housing and living with parents respectively.
First of all, the number of undergraduate students who used university dormitory in 2013 showed the highest trend with over 4,000. Almost the same amount was for shared apartments with just under 4,000. People who used shared house as accommodation were twice as many as those who lived with parents in 2013. Last but not least, fewer amount shared housings, like married student housing, own apartment and house. It was obvious that for undergraduate students the least common accommodation was married student housing, with below 250 students, since their age.
Second of all, for graduate students oppositely the least preferable housing was student’s dormitory as none of them chose it in 2013. Furthermore, the tiny portion of them lived with parents compared to approximately 1,000 undergraduates. The number of graduates lived in married student housing was exactly the same as undergraduates lived with parents. In addition, owners of apartments and houses were more between 500 and 1,000. It is worth noticing that roughly 1,000 graduates shared accommodations like house and apartment.
